Terms of Service
1. Introduction
This Agreement sets forth the Terms and Conditions for services provided by Pavlina Petrovova (“the Practitioner”) to you (“the Client”).
Its purpose is to clearly outline the scope of services, boundaries, and mutual expectations of both parties in a professional and transparent manner.
By engaging the Practitioner’s services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
2. Privacy Policy
The Practitioner is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of all clients.
Information Collected:
Name, contact details, session notes, and any personal or health-related information shared during sessions.
Use of Information:
To manage appointments, provide services, maintain records, and communicate important updates.
Storage:
Client information is stored securely in compliance with UK & EU GDPR regulations.
Sharing:
Information will never be shared with third parties without explicit client consent, except where required by law (e.g. risk of harm or court orders).
Client Rights:
Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information at any time.
By engaging in services, clients consent to the collection and use of their personal information in accordance with this policy.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy – 1:1 Sessions & Packages
Client Cancellations
To reschedule or cancel an appointment, the Client must provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled session. Where sufficient notice is given, any prepaid fee may be applied as a credit toward a future appointment (subject to availability).
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend without notice, will result in the session being charged in full. No refunds or credits will be issued.
Rescheduling
Where appropriate notice is given, the Practitioner will make reasonable efforts to reschedule. Repeated late cancellations or rescheduling may result in reassessment of future bookings or discontinuation of services.
Practitioner Cancellations
If the Practitioner must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be notified as soon as possible. An alternative appointment will be offered, or the Client may choose a refund or credit.
Refunds for Packages & Prepaid Services
Once a package or programme has commenced, refunds are not provided for unused sessions. This reflects the reserved time, preparation, and commitment involved. All other sales are final.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy – Classes & Events
Client Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel a class or event booking. Where sufficient notice is given, a refund or credit may be offered in line with the Practitioner’s policy.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or non-attendance without communication, will result in forfeiture of fees. No refunds or credits will be issued.
Practitioner Cancellations
If a class or event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Clients will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
Refunds for Multi-Session Events
Refunds for multi-session courses or packages are considered on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds may be reduced to reflect sessions already attended. Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final.
5. Confidentiality
The Practitioner is committed to protecting the Client’s privacy and confidentiality.
All personal information, session content, and records are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit consent.
Exceptions apply only where required by law or ethical duty (e.g. risk of harm, court orders, or mandatory reporting). Where possible, the Client will be informed.
Client records are stored securely in compliance with UK & EU GDPR regulations. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the practitioner–client relationship and is upheld with the utmost care.
6. Liability Disclaimer
No Guaranteed Outcomes
Services are intended to support well-being, nervous system regulation, and personal growth. No specific results are guaranteed.
Not Medical or Emergency Services
Services are complementary and not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support where needed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Practitioner shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in services. Liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.
Client Responsibility
The Client is responsible for their own decisions, actions, and well-being. By engaging in services, the Client releases the Practitioner from liability for outcomes beyond reasonable control, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
7. Client Responsibilities
By entering into this agreement, the Client agrees to:
Provide honest and accurate information
Actively participate in sessions
Attend sessions on time and give notice if unable to attend
Maintain respectful communication and behaviour
Take responsibility for their own health and seek medical advice when appropriate
Communicate openly regarding feedback or questions
Failure to uphold these responsibilities may impact the effectiveness of services and may result in termination of the professional relationship.
8. Amendments, Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Amendments
The Practitioner reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Clients will be informed of any material changes. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Dispute Resolution
Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct communication. Mediation or alternative dispute resolution may be considered before legal action.
Acceptance & Reiki Consent
By booking or participating in services, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and agrees to be legally bound by them.
The Client acknowledges that Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice intended to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.
The Client understands and agrees that:
Reiki is complementary and not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care
Practitioners do not diagnose, prescribe, or perform medical procedures
The Client is responsible for their own health and decisions
Medical advice should be sought alongside Reiki where appropriate
The Client understands that outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.
The Client gives informed consent to receive Reiki and understands they may pause or stop a session at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees that the Practitioner is not liable for outcomes arising from participation.
By proceeding, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this consent.
